These terms govern your use of shelfvelo.com (the “Service”), operated by Tastewise Inc.. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service is

ShelfVelo publishes free rankings of grocery and convenience-store products by a sales velocity index derived from a panel of US stores on a delivery platform. Read the methodology for exactly how it is measured and where it falls short.

The data, and its limits

The Service is a delivery-channel sample, not a retail census. Velocity and momentum are derived from a coarse “recently sold” bracket and are directional signals, not exact unit sales, revenue or market share. The data is provided for informational purposes only and must not be relied on as the sole basis for investment, trading, procurement or other commercial decisions.

Citing and reusing the rankings

You may quote, screenshot and cite figures from the public pages — including in articles, reports and AI-generated answers — provided you attribute them to “ShelfVelo, powered by Tastewise” and link to the page you took them from. You may not republish or resell the dataset in bulk, present it as your own, or use automated means to extract it at a volume that degrades the Service for others.

Accounts, forms and premium access

Some materials are released in exchange for a work email address. You agree that the details you submit are accurate and yours to give. Premium reports, exports and analyst sessions may be subject to a separate agreement.

Intellectual property and third-party marks

The Service, its content and its design are owned by Tastewise Inc. and its licensors. Product names, brand names, logos and store banners are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only. ShelfVelo is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any delivery platform, retailer or brand appearing in the rankings.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tastewise Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes and termination

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
